I wanted to help people understand what it's like to wake up one day and find you've become one of the forgotten."
“Because I'm largely housebound, there's no way I can shoot a film in the conventional sense. So I use what I come across.
My aim is to bring an authenticity often lacking in "staged" films, especially films about illness, disability and disadvantage.
Everything you see and hear actually happened.”
